Lenovo has hinted the launch of its K-series smartphone in India

Lenovo has hinted the launch of its K-series smartphone in India. The Chinese manufacturer wrote on its Twitter handle “We know, you can’t get enough of the K series. Can you guess the name of the upcoming K?”

The company also revealed that the upcoming K-series handset comes with ‘Kickass Power’ hinting that Lenovo’s K6 Power might be launching in India soon. The company also posted a picture that partly showed the forthcoming K6 Power.

Seeing that the company has been launching smartphones under the Vibe and Moto series in the country, it is likely that the handset will be officially named Lenovo K6 Power when it comes here. However as of now company has not revealed any launch date for the smartphone.

To summon up, the company unveiled the Lenovo K6 Power at the IFA 2016 trade show which was held in Berlin along with the K6 and K6 Note devices.

The smartphone was launched in Silver, Dark Grey, and Gold colour variants. It sports a metal unibody design. The Lenovo K6 runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and houses an integrated fingerprint sensor and supports a dual-SIM slot. The device is powered by the 64-bit Snapdragon 430 octa-core processor (4×1.2GHz Cortex-A53+1.5GHz Cortex-A53) along with Adreno 505 GPU for graphics.

Other than this, the Lenovo K6 comes with a 5-inch HD (1920×1090 pixels) display. It offers two RAM/storage options, first with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage capacity and the other with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of onboard storage capacity. It also offers storage expandability option via microSD card. The main highlight of the device is its 4000mAh battery.

The Lenovo K6 comes with a 13megapixel primary camera on the back along with LED flash and an 8-megapixel front shooter for selfies. For connectivity, the device has options like 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.1, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, and GPS.
