Moto M smartphone will soon be announcing in India
Motorola owned by Lenovo confirmed on Monday that the Moto M smartphone will soon be announcing in India. Also, the company on Twitter posted an image of the Moto M metal-clad smartphone. In the post-Motorola quoted “Something different is coming your way. Stay tuned to know more” with a hashtag #comingsoon.
The pricing of the smartphone is yet to be revealed, so we will probably have to wait some more for this information. The company’s first all-metal smartphone, the Moto M, was launched earlier this month in China. It was launched with a price tag of CNY 1,999(around 19,700). So the pricing of the upcoming smartphone can be expected in this range only.
Other than sporting an all-metal body, the Moto M comes with antenna bands running on top and bottom edges at the back. The device runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and sports a 5.5-inch HD 2.5D IPS (1080×1920 pixels) display with a 401ppi pixel density. It is powered by a 64-bit MediaTek Helio P15 processor clocked at 2.2GHz paired with 4GB of LPDDR3 RAM. It comes with a 32GB internal storage capacity which also supports expandability up to 128GB via microSD card. The dual-SIM smartphone supports hybrid SIM slot which means it supports a micro-SIM or microSD card in the second card slot.
Coming to the optics of the upcoming Moto M, it features a 16-megapixel primary camera o the back along with dual-LED flash, PDAF support, and a f/2.0 aperture. It also has an 8megapixel front camera. The handset is powered by a 3050mAh battery which also supports fast charging. Similar to several Moto brand smartphones, Moto M also features proof design or nano coating which means it can stand light rain splashes. The handset connectivity option that includes Wi-Fi 802.11ac, 4G with VoLTE, GPS/A-GPS, 3.5mm audio jack, Bluetooth v4.1, and USB Type-C.
