Meizu has unveiled the M5 Note smartphone at an event in China
Finally, Meizu has unveiled the M5 Note smartphone at an event in China. The smartphone is available in three RAM/storage variants- 3GB RAM/16GB storage option, 3GB RAM/32GB storage, and 4GB RAM/64GB storage variant. The devices are priced at CNY 899 (around Rs. 8,900), CNY 999 (around Rs. 9,900), and CNY 1, 499 (around Rs. 14,900) respectively. The Meizu M5 Note is available for pre-order in the country and will begin selling it from Thursday onwards.
The big highlight of the smartphone is that it runs on the newly launched Flyme OS 6 which is based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box. It comes with an all metal body and also bundles a huge 4000mAh battery along with mCharge fast charging support which the company claims can charge the device in 90 minutes. The device also features a fingerprint scanner that is housed under the Home Button, and Meizu claims that it can unlock the smartphone in just 0.2 seconds. The Meizu M5 Note will be available in Silver, Blue, Champagne Gold, and Grey colour variants.
Coming to the specifications of the Meizu M5 Note comes with a 5.5-inch (1080×1920 pixels) LTPS 2.5 D curved glass displays. The device is powered by a 1.8GHz MediaTek Helio P10 octa-core processor coupled with ARM Mali T860 GPU. Other than onboard storage, the smartphone also offers expandability up to 128GB with the help of a microSD card slot.
The Meizu M5 Note device supports hybrid dual-SIM slot and 4G VoLTE. In terms of the optics, the device features a 13-megapixel primary camera along with f/2.0 aperture and 4P Lens. For connectivity, the smartphone offers Bluetooth v4.2, GPS support, and Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n. The dimensions of the Meizu M5 Note is measured at 153.6×75.8×8.15mm, and it weighs 175 grams.
