The Chinese smartphone maker Meizu U10, U20 Budget Android Smartphones Launched with Fingerprint Sensor
Meizu, a Chinese smartphone manufacturer, has introduced two new smartphones in its U series, the U10, and U20. The smartphone will be available in Black, White, Rose Gold, and Champagne Gold color variants. The pricing starts at CNY 999 (Rs. 10,000 approximately)
The new smartphones come in two memory variants the Meizu U10 2GB/16GB variants is priced at CNY 999 ( around Rs.10,000), whereas the 3GB RAM/32GB variant is priced at CNY 1,119 (Rs. 11,300). While the Meizu 2GB/16GB memory variant is priced at CNY 1,099 (Rs. 11,100 approximately), the 3GB/32 GB variant is priced at CNY 1,299 (Rs. 13,100 approximately ). The U10 will be available in China from September 18, whereas U20 will be available from August 28.
Coming to the specifications, the Meizu U10 comes with Android-based Yun OS along with Flyme UI and supports hybrid dual-SIM slot. It sports a 5-inch IPS resolution and comes with a 2.5D curved glass protection. The device is powered by the octa-core processor. Additionally, the handset comes with an expandable option up to 128GB via microSD card.
Regarding the camera, Meizuz U10 comes with a 13-megapixel rear camera along with dual-tone LED flash and a 5-megapixel front camera for selfies and video recording. The device packs a 2760mAh battery. For connectivity, it has options including 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.1, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, and GPS.
All the specifications are same on the Meizu U20 apart from the larger display and enhanced battery. The handset features a 5.5-inch HD display which offers 1080*1920 pixel resolution and battery of 3260mAh. Both the Meizu smartphones come with embedded fingerprint sensor into the mTouch 2.1 home button. As of now, there is no information whether the smartphones will be available in the international market or not.
