Freedom 251 to Come With a Delivery Charge
The company Ringing Bells has announced the delivery of Freedom 251 smartphone from July 8. The delivery of this phone will be made to only 5000 customers, and they will be charged Rs. 40. It means Freedom 251 to Come With a Delivery Charge more than 15 percent of the cost of the phone for delivery.
Adding the delivery charge the total cost of the goes up to Rs. 291. After the delivery of 5000 handsets, the CEO of this company will wait for the feedback from customers. The CEO also said that he is ready with 500 service centers pan-India to address customer’s queries. Goel has even written a letter to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi asking for government’s support. He also added that if the government will invest Rs. 50,000 crore from its Digital India funds he can ensure that 750 million people in India will own this smartphone at just Rs. 251. Ringing Bells has delayed the delivery of its new smartphone for multiple times now. The initial date for delivery was June 30, but it got postponed to July 6 and still it was not scheduled out the second time, and now it is expected to be delivered on July 8. Goel also claimed that the company is bearing the loss of Rs. 180- Rs. 270 per smartphone. The company will soon generate revenue by creating as many as 100 new apps and sell it for Rs. 1 to Rs 3 to its Freedom 251 users. The company’s official site is also down currently as it will soon be unveiling a new website on Thursday.
Ringing Bell is ready with 2 lakh units of Freedom 251 smartphones. The smartphone will run Android 5.1 Lollipop and has a 4-inch display. It is powered by a quad-core processor. The smartphone has 1GB of RAM and an 8GB of internal storage which is expandable up to 32GB via microSD card. It has an 8 megapixel rear facing the camera with flash and a 3.2-megapixel selfie camera. The smartphone sports 1800 mAh battery. It has two color options which are white and black. The smartphone will have all the essential apps. The smartphone will soon be delivered to the customers.
