Huawei’s Terminal’s Honor brand launched new Honor Magic smartphone on Friday. The new Magic smartphone is up for grabs in China with a price tag of CNY 3,699 (around Rs. 36,000). The smartphone will be made available in China via Tmall, JD.com, and Vmall and as of now, there is no word of its global launch. With the launch of the new Honor Magic smartphone, the company marked its third anniversary.
The new smartphone comes with intelligent sensor and recognition technology that ensure the privacy of the users. It features WiseScreen sensor that allows you to unlock the phone by just looking at the display. Further, when you put the smartphone down or in your pocket, it automatically turns off the screen and locks the device. The Magic handset also has FaceCode intelligent recognition feature.
Coming to the specifications of Honor Magic, the device comes with a 5.09-inch (1440×2560 pixels) Quad HD AMOLED 3D curved display. It is powered by Honor’s in-house octa-core Kirin 950 processor clocked at 1.8GHz paired with 4GB of RAM. The device offers internal storage capacity of 64GB on it runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow along with Honor’s UI on top. The device support dual-SIM and is powered by a 2900mAh battery along with fast charging support. Honor claims that the Magic smartphone can fuel up to 70 percent in 20 minutes whereas it gives 40 percent charging within 10 minutes of charging.

In terms of the optics, Honor Magic bears a 12-megapixel dual-rear camera along with dual-tone LED flash and f/2.2 aperture. It also houses an 8-megapixel front snapper for selfies mad video calling. The dimensions of 146.1×69.9×7.8mm and it weigh 145 grams. For connectivity, the Magic smartphone offers 4G LTE, 3G, Bluetooth 4.2, GPRS/EDGE, GPS/A-GPS.
