Honor is the Chinese networking and telecommunications equipment and services company Huawei’s sub-brand. Honor devices which are designed, manufactured, and marketed by Huawei also include wearable technology, tablet computers and smartphones. Huawei started in late 2011 and established in 2013. In 2014 company started its international expansion. Honor launch Honor 3C in Malaysia in April 2014, and also entered in the European market with the announcement in Berlin in October 2014. It sells its products online via third party sites or with its site.
Honor Play Pad 2 Tablet
This the brand of Huawei launched Honor Play Pad 2 along with Honor 6A Smartphone and the Honor Band A2 fitness tracker on Tuesday 30 May 2017 in China. It is launched in two variants i.e. 8 Inch and 9.6 Inch. The price of Honor Play Pad 2 8 Inch is around CNY 799 (around Rs. 7580) for 2GB RAM/ 32GB storage Wi-Fi only model, for LTE model for same storage and RAM it is priced CNY 999 (around Rs. 9500) and for 3GB/32GB storage LTE model it is priced CNY 1,299 (around Rs. 12500). On the other hand the price of Honor Play Pad 2 9.6 Inch is around CNY 999 (around Rs. 9500) for 2GB RAM/ 32GB storage Wi-Fi only model, for LTE model for same storage and RAM it is priced CNY 1299 (around Rs. 12500) and for 3GB/32GB storage LTE model it is priced CNY 1,499 (around Rs. 14500). Both the tablets are voice calling supportive and in a metal body.
Apart the sizes of the display of Honor Play Pad 2 the remaining specifications are same. The screen resolution of both tablets is same which is 1280×800 pixels and has IPS display. Both have Android 7.0 Nougat operating system, quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 SoCs CPU and 2 or 3 GB RAM. Inbuilt storage can be expanded up to 128GB via microSD card.
Both these tablets have 5MP rear and 2MP front facing the camera. Connectivity options that are available in both tablets are WLAN (Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n), GPS/ A-GPS, a Micro-USB port, Bluetooth v4.1 and 4G LTE. The dimensions of the 8 Inch variant are 211.07×124.65×7.95mm and 350g weight, while 9.6 Inch variant has 229.8×159.8×7.95mm dimensions with 460g weight.Both tablets are powered by the battery of 4800mAh.
