Lenovo Phab 2 Plus has been unveiled in India. The product is priced at Rs. 14,999. Lenovo Phab 2 Plus is the successor of the Lenovo Phab Plus smartphone that features an AR ( Augmented Reality mode in its camera application. Lenovo Phab 2 Plus is exclusively available on Amazon in India.
Coming to the specifications of Lenovo Pab 2 Plus, it sports a 6.40-inch HD display along with a 1080×1920 pixel resolution. The Phablet is made of aluminium alloy, and sports 2.5D curved glass design on the front. The Phab 2 Plus is powered by MediaTek MTK8783 Octa-core processor paired with 3GB of RAM and onboard storage capacity of 32GB which can further be expanded up to 128GB via microSD card.
Lenovo Phab 2 Plus features a 13-megapixel dual camera and an 8-megapixel front camera. The AR mode in the smartphone’s camera allows you to take shots and create the video with superimposed effects like virtual backgrounds or cartoons. Though it is not the same as the Lenovo Phab 2 Pro, which is the Google Project Tango facilitated smartphone
The Lenovo Phab 2 Plus smartphone packs a 4,050mAh battery. It is a single-SIM handset that supports micro-SIM card. It is outfitted with Dolby Atmos and Dolby Audio Capture 5.1 surround sound support. Sensor options on Lenovo Phab 2 Plus include the Proximity sensor, G-sensor, L-sensor, Gyroscope Hall sensor, and E-Compass.
Initially, Lenovo Phab 2 Plus was launched in San Francisco at the Lenovo’s Tech World Conference in June this year. It comes with a price tag of $299 (Rs. 19,999 approximately) in the US. It will go on sale exclusively on an e-commerce site Amazon on 8th November 1 pm. There is no word on when the company is planning to launch the product on the offline platform.
