Lenovo unveils its so-called powerhouse smartphone Lenovo P2, set to launch in India soon
Lenovo P2 was officially launched back in September last year and went on for sale couple of months later. In 2017, the company revealed that it is all set to launch the powerhouse smartphone Lenovo P2 in the Indian market. With the success of Lenovo K Note series, the company is assuming to get a greater response for the Lenovo P series as well.
The company put a teaser on its Twitter handle stating that the new Lenovo P2 will be all about power efficiency and long lasting battery.
The Lenovo P2 series is all about the battery functionality and performance and to cover that, the device has come up with a 5100 mAh battery source. Lenovo P2 smartphone is similar to the Lenovo Vibe series on comparing with the design. It sports a plastic back with a metal finish and metal frames on the sides of the main body.
Lenovo P2 is comprised of 5.5 inch 1920 x 1080 pixels full HD Super AMOLED display. It runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor clocked at 2 GHz. The Device comes with two RAM variants, 3GB RAM and 4GB RAM. The internal storage is same for both the variants at 32GB and expandable up to 128GB via microSD card.
The smartphone will have a 13 MP primary camera and a 5 MP selfie camera. It will run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system. The device includes a fingerprint scanner on the front and NFC support. There are two colour variants released for Lenovo P2; one is Grey and the other comes in Gold.
Like the previous version, Lenovo P1 already launched in India at a price of 15999 INR; the speculations are made that the company wants to sell Lenovo P2 to the Indian market under 20,000 INR.
