Coolpad has unveiled the Mega 3 and Note 3S smartphones in India

True to the past reports, Coolpad has unveiled the Mega 3 and Note 3S smartphones in India. The smartphones come with the price tag of Rs. 6,999 and Rs. 9,999 respectively and will be up for sales from December 7 onwards exclusively on Amazon India. The biggest highlight of the Coolpad Mega 3 smartphone is that it supports triple-SIM slots and also features VoLTE support. On the other hand, the Note 3S comes with a fingerprint sensor that is housed at the back.

Let’s start wit the specifications of Mega 3; the device comes with a 5.5-inch HD IPS (720×1080 pixels) display along with 269ppi pixel density. The smartphone is powered by a 1.25GHz MediaTek MT6737 quad-core processor coupled with 2GB of RAM. The smartphone comes with an internal storage capacity of 16GB which can be further expanded up to 64GB via microSD card slot.

The Coolpad Mega 3 runs o Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Coming to the optics, the smartphone bears an 8-megapixel rear camera along with f/2.2 aperture and autofocus. It also has a front camera of 8-megapixel for selfies and video calling. The Cool Mega 3 is powered by a 3050mAh battery that the company claims offers up to 200 hours in standby mode.

For connectivity, the smartphone incorporates  Bluetooth v.0, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, and trip-SIM slots. The dimensions of the handsets are measured at 154.4×76.8×8.35mm, and it weighs 170.5 grams. It will be available in Gold Grey and White colour variants.

Coming to the specifications of Coolpad Note 3S, it comes with the same 5.5-inch HD IPS (720×1080  pixels) display along with 2.5D protection. The smartphone is powered by 1.3GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 415 MSM8929 octa-core processor paired with 3GB of RAM. It also comes with an internal storage capacity of 32GB which can be further expanded via microSD card. The smartphone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

In terms of the optics, Coolpad Note 3S features a 13-megapixel primary camera along with f/2.2 aperture and autofocus. It also bears a 5-megapixel front snapper along with f/2.2 aperture and autofocus. Connectivity options are 4G VoLTE, dual-SIM slot, Bluetooth v4.0, and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n. The dimensions of the smartphones are measured at 154.5x77x8.6mm, and it weighs 167 grams. It will be available in White and Gold colour variants. Apart from the fingerprint sensor it also features magnetic sensor, accelerometer, light sensor, and proximity sensor.
