Finally, Moto Launched Android 7.1.1 for Moto Z smartphone

Lenovo’s Moto brand is reported to have released an Android 7.1.1 Nougat update for its nearly one-year old Moto Z smartphone. According to a report, the update for the Moto Z is currently being released in Hong Kong and Indonesia for Android 7.1.1 NOUGAT. These updates have been released over-the-air (OTG) and include the Google Duo Video Calling App and Android Security Updates for July.

Moto Z is Lenovo’s first modular smartphone that was launched last year. And there was Android 6.0 Marshmallow pre-installed. According to the Tech-Droid news, the version of the Moto Z smartphone with the Android 7.1.1 Nougat update has become NPL26.118-20. However, the size of the update is not yet given, but it includes the July Android Security update for the device.

While the update for the Moto Z is currently being released in Hong Kong and Indonesia 7.1.1 Nougat update in Indonesia, the other markets are also expected to be released in the coming weeks. Moto has detailed instructions on the update screen of Moto Z, which states that 50 percent of the battery is required before the update process starts. To update, the user needs to go to Settings> About Phone> Software Updates (Settings> About Phone> Software Updates) to see whether updates are available or not.

Talk about Moto Z’s specification, this phone has 5.5 inches (2560 x 1440 pixels) quad AMOLED display. The phone has Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor and 4 GB RAM. Dual SIM Moto Z has a 13-megapixel rear camera with optical image stabilization and laser autofocus. The front camera with front flash and a wide angle lens is 5 megapixels. There is a 2600 mAh battery which can get up to 30 hours of talk time. With Turbo Power Charging, the phone can give up to 8 hours of battery life in 15 minutes. It comes with the water-repellent coating.
