Oppo unveiled Oppo A57 – its new smartphone
While it has not been settled on whether the high-end smartphone Find 9 by Oppo will ever be a real thing, the company is constantly rolling out mid-range smartphones in the market like its recent launch. Oppo unveiled Oppo A57 – its new smartphone on Friday in its home country China. The Oppo A57 is a mid-range handset that will be made available in China on 12 December at a price od CY 1,599 (Rs. 16,000). The handset will be offered in Rose Gold and Gold colour variants. As of now the company hasn’t announced its launch in other markets.
In terms of the specifications, the Oppo A57 is a Dual Sim device which runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box personalised with the company’s ColorOS 3.0 skin on top. The device is powered by an octa-core 1.4GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 SoC paired with 3GB of RAM and Adreno 505 GPU for graphics. For the display, it has a 5.2-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) LCD screen along with 2.5D curved glass.
Coming to the optics, the Oppo A57 comes with a 16-megapixel front camera along with f/2.0 aperture. The primary camera housed on the back incorporates a 13-megapixel camera along with a PDAF, f2.2 aperture, and a LED flash module. The Smartphone also comes with an integrated fingerprint scanner placed on a home button below the display.
Coming to the storage capacity, Oppo A57 comes with an internal storage capacity of 32GB that can be further expanded up to 128GB via microSD card. Further, the connectivity options in the smartphone include 4G LTE, Bluetooth v4.1, GPS, GPRS/EDGE, USB, Wi-Fi, and 3.5mm audio jack. The device packs a 2900mAh battery
The dimensions of Oppo A57 is measured at 149.1×72.9×7.65mm, and it weighs at 147 grams.
