Reliance Retail unveiled Wind 7S smartphone with 4G VoLTE. The device is a successor of the Lyf Wind 7, and it is priced at Rs. 5,699 and has been listed on Reliance’s official website
Coming to the specification, the Lyf Wind 7S comes with a 5-inch (720×1280 pixels) HD display. It is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 processor paired with 2GB of RAM. The smartphone offers an internal storage capacity of 16GB which can be further expandable up to 128GB via microSD card.
The Lyf Wind 7S bears an 8-megapiel primary camera along with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front snapper. The device is powered by a 2250mAh battery which the company claims offer 9 hours of 4G talk time, 32 hours of non-stop music, and 5 hours of video playback.
For connectivity, Wind 7S offers options such as 4G VoLTE, GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, and 3.5mm headphone jack.
The new Lyf Wind 7S houses a feature named ‘Multiple gestures that allow you to immediately wake up your device control the music player, start the camera, mute incoming calls and access various apps from the locked screen using gestures.
The company launched Wind 7 in August this year. The device comes with a 5-inch touchscreen display along with 720 by 1280 pixel resolution. The Wind 7 is powered by a 1.3GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 MSM8909 processor paired with 2GB of RAM. The device comes with an internal storage capacity of 16GB which can be further expanded up to 128GB via microSD card. It houses an 8-megapixel back camera and a 5-megapixel front snapper. It runs on Android 5.1 and packs a 2250mAh battery. The dimensions of the device are measured at 143.50×72.00×8.70mm, and it weighs 156 grams.
