Upcoming new phone in India of galaxy series is Samsung Galaxy Wide 2 (Recently Launched in South Korea), who is the successor of Samsung Galaxy Wide in its homeland South Korea. The estimated price of Samsung is around Rs. 17000. This Smartphone is expected to launch in India in May 2017.
Samsung Galaxy Wide 2 is featured with 5.50 Inch HD LCD (720X1280 pixels), on top covered with 2.5D curved glass. This Smartphone is powered by 2GB RAM and 1.6 GHz Octa-core processor and comes with internal storage of 16GB and expandable up to 256 GB via microSD card.
Samsung Galaxy Wide 2 comes with a 13MP primary camera with f/1.9 aperture and a secondary camera of 5MP. The Smartphone is powered by 3300mAh non-removable battery and is backed by Android 7.0 Nougat. The dimensions of Smartphone are 151.5×76.4×8.6mm (length x width x thickness) and weighs 170grams.
Samsung Galaxy Wide 2 is a dual SIM Smartphone with both Micro-SIM and other options available are Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, FM, 3G and 4G. Sensors on the phone include Accelerometer, Proximity sensor and Ambient light sensor.
Samsung Galaxy Wide 2 has not been listed on the official website of Samsung in South Korea. This Smartphone is launched in South Korea by the tie-up with SK Telecom (mobile career in South Korea).
Presently, with no information on pricing and availability in other markets, Samsung Galaxy Wide 2 has only been launched in South Korea.
It seems that Samsung Galaxy Wide 2 is specially designed for South Korean market. It might be possible that Samsung can launch Wide 2 with a different name as previously version Samsung Galaxy Wide is launched with a name of Samsung Galaxy On7.
