In this era, all the smartphone companies are updating their handsets with the latest Android version i.e. Marshmallow operating system, mostly the flagship devices. Samsung is nowhere back in this and has already done this in its many devices.
And now the Samsung adds one more smartphone in the list of Marshmallow running phones. The Samsung Galaxy A8 is will be the next smartphone rolling out with the latest version of Android operating system. It is anticipated that the particular model will receive firmware maybe in a week or two. According to the SamMobile, the device has received Wi-Fi certification and consent for operating Marshmallow version and will soon receive firmware.
Once, the operating system is installed, then the users will enjoy many extra functions like Doze mode, Google Now on tap, and Runtime Permissions.

To recall the specs of Galaxy A8, which was launched in July 2015, it sports 5.70-inch display screen with a high resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels at PPI of 386 pixels per density. It is paired with 2GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage and runs on Exynos 5430 chipset clocked with 1.8GHz octa-core processor. If we talk about its storage capacity, then it is massive as 128GB expandable memory can be stored via a micro-SD card. The primary camera features a 16-megapixel camera on the rear side along with LED flash, and 8MP camera is spotted on the front side for the selfies. The handset is backed up by a 3050mAh battery.
Talking about the previous Samsung phones, which has received the firmware update are Galaxy S5 Sport, Galaxy S5, Galaxy S6, Galaxy S7 Edge, Galaxy S7 Edge+, Galaxy Note 5, Galaxy Note Edge and Galaxy Note 4. And further on, many smartphones are in the line to receive the firmware update which includes Galaxy Tab S2, Galaxy Alpha, Galaxy A8, and Galaxy A7.
To add on, Samsung was in speculation for some of the smartphones that alleged to be rolled out with a new firmware update in the next week. The devices which are being expected to come are Galaxy A5 (2016), Galaxy A7 (2016), Galaxy J3 (2016), Galaxy J5, Galaxy J7 and others. The USA’s model Galaxy J5 and Galaxy J7 has already received the updated version, and will be entering in other territories too as soon as possible.
