After the launch of Galaxy C5, Samsung has started the ball rolling of the extended variant of C series i.e. Galaxy C7, which has made debut in China. The Galaxy C5 is open for taking pre-orders, and it will be available from June 6 while no availability date has been revealed for Galaxy C7.
The Galaxy C7 is launched in two variants by storage. One is launched with 32GB variant priced at 2599 Yuan (approx Rs.26526) while the second edition comes with 64GB internal memory at a price tag of 2700 Yuan (approx Rs. 28,653). The smartphone comes in four different exclusive colors- Silver, Grey, Gold and Rose Gold.
Samsung Galaxy C7 runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system with a backup of a 3300mAh battery. As per the dimensions, it measures 156.60 x 77.20 x 6.70 mm and weighs 165 grams. The handset is assisted by hybrid dual-SIM and sports 5.7 inches Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display with a resolution of 1080×1920 pixels. It is powered by Qualcomm MSM8953 Snapdragon 625 processor. It is clubbed with octa-core 2.0GHz Cortex-A53 and Adreno 506.
On the storage front, Galaxy C7 is equipped with 4GB RAM; 32/64GB inbuilt storage, an expandable memory of 128GB via a micro-SD card. On the photography front, the camera features 16-megapixel camera back camera f/1.9 aperture, autofocus and an 8-megapixel front camera with f/1.9 aperture. Other features include geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, panorama, and HDR.

Galaxy C7 features 3.5mm audio jack and includes a fingerprint sensor on the home button. On connectivity front, the WLAN connections include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/ b/ g/ n/ ac, dual-band, Wi-Fi Direct, and hotspot. Further on, connectivity options include Bluetooth, GPS, and NFC. On sensor options, the handset includes accelerometer, proximity, compass sensor along with fingerprint sensor as above mentioned.
Other features of Galaxy C7 in messaging front include SMS, MMS, Email, Push Mail, IM. The fast battery charging i.e. 83% in 30 minutes (Quick Charge 3.0), active noise cancellation with dedicated mic, photo/video editor, ANT + support, document viewer, and MP3/MP4 are other plus points of the smartphone which comes with the Galaxy C7.
