Samsung Z2 Tizen-Powered Smartphone India Launch Expected Today
The Korean-based smartphone giant is expected to launch its next Tizen-powered smartphone Today in India. Apparently, Samsung has been sending out media invites for the event on Tuesday where it is rumored to launch the new Samsung Z2 Tizen-powered smartphone.
Samsung’s much anticipated Z2 Tizen-based smartphone has been finally got a launched date. Over the weekend the company had started rolling out invited to the media for an event on Tuesday where it is likely to introduce the Samsung Z2 Tizen-based smartphone. The alleged smartphone was leaked last week in a promotional video hinting a couple of new features. In the video, the Z2 seemed to feature the same design as the Samsung Z3, which was mystifyingly the second phone launched by the company in this lineup.
Some of the featured design in the alleged video was textured back panel and rear camera along with a LED flash. Ultra Data Saving Mode is one of the main highlighted features of this unannounced smartphone. This particular feature is lately has been featured in all the company’s budget and mid-range handset. Another major highlight is that the Z2 supports 4G, thus making it the first Tizen-based smartphone to support 4G LTE in India.
Some preloaded app that is speculated to be present includes My Money Transfer, which is alleged to be the latest feature on the Tizen smartphone for India. Moreover, the smartphone is expected to have WhatsApp and Telegram pre-installed.
A recent report stated that the Samsung Z2 might come with a price tag of Rs. 4,499. Further, the phone will feature a 4.5-inch display, 1GB RAM, 2000mAh battery, dual-SIM support, and 4G VoLTE.
To recall your memory, the company launched its first Tizen-powered smartphone Z1 in India back in January last year. Then the company came up with its successor Samsung Z3 in October. The yet to be announced Samsung Z2 will be the third smartphone in the Samsung’s Tizen lineup.
