Swipe Telecom has unveiled a new 4G smartphone, Swipe Konnect 4G. The device is priced at Rs. 2,799, and t is exclusively available via ShopClues. Interesting, the listing states an MRP of Rs. 3,999.

Coming to the specification of Swipe Konnect 4G, the device runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow, and comes with a 4-inch WVGA (480×800 pixels) display. The device is powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core processor paired with 512MB of RAM.

In terms of the optics, the Swipe Konnect 4G smartphone bears a 5-megapixel back camera along with a 1.3-megapixel (VGA) front snapper. For connectivity, the device has a Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS/A-GPS, and micro-USB.  The smartphone provides accelerometer and proximity as sensor options. It is powered by a 2000mAh battery which is rated to offer up to 7 hours of talk time and up to 150 hours of standby time. The device weighs at 119 grams.

Earlier this month the company launched Swipe Elite Star which was also a budgeted smartphone with the price tag of Rs. 3,333. The device was a Flipkart exclusive product, which comes with a 4-inch WVGA (480×800 pixels) display. It is powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core processor that is paired with 1GB of RAM and offers 8GB of internal storage capacity. It also provides expandability option of up to 32GB via microSD card.

Back in October, Swipe Telecom unveiled the Swipe Elite 2 Plus which came with 4G VoLTE offering and a price tag of Rs. 4,444. The smartphone comes with a 5-inch FWVGA (480×854 pixels) display and is powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core Spreadtrum SC9830A processor paired with 1GB of RAM. It comes with an internal storage Capacity of 8GB which can be further expanded up to 32GB microSD card. It bears a 5-megapixel primary camera and a 2-megal pixel front camera for selfies and video chats.
