Vivo V5 and V5 to be unveiled on November 15th. The smartphones are a successor of Vivo’s V3 and V3 Max which was launched in April. Vivo has sent media invites for the launch event. Now, a famous site has leaked full specifications of both the devices. According to the leaks, the smartphones will sport a similar metal unibody design and will run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow along with Funtouch OS. Both the V5 and V5 Plus are expected to feature 20-meagpixel camera paired with Moonlight flash.
V5 is tipped to come with a 5.5-inch full HD display with 1280×720 pixels resolution. The smartphone will be powered by a 1.8GHz Snapdragon 652 octa-core processor paired with 4GB of RAM and 32GB ROM. The internal storage capacity can be expanded up to 128GB via microSD card. The fingerprint sensor is housed under the home button. The phone is dual-SIM and packs a 3,000mAh battery.
Vivo V5 will come with the support of VoLTE, GPS, GLONASS, and Wi-Fi. The smartphone weighs 154 grams. Sensor onboard is Proximity, Accelerometer, and E-compass. The V5 will be available in Gold and Rose Gold colour variants. On the other hand, Vivo V5 Plus is tipped to feature similar specification except for an enhanced battery and display. The price of both the smartphones is unknown. However, we could expect the price of Vivo V5 to be under Rs. 20,000 and V5 Plus would come close to Rs.25,000.
Vivo V3 and V3 Max were announced with a price tag of Rs. 17,980 and Rs. 23,980 respectively. The devices sport metal unibody design and have a fingerprint sensor on the back. The company included Hi-Fi music on both the handsets. Vivo V3 features a 5-inch HD display, an octa-core Snapdragon 616 processor coupled with 3GB of RAM and 16GB onboard storage capacity. Vivo V3 Max sports a 5.5-inch HD display; it is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 652 processor coupled with 4GB RAM. It has an internal storage capacity of 32GB that can be further expanded up to 128GB. Both the handsets has 13-megapixel primary and 8-megapixel front camera.
