Xiaomi Mi 6 tipped to launch in the first half of 2017, while a precise timeline is yet to provide. However, according to recent rumors suggesting that the device is expected to launch between February to April.
A renowned tipster has hinted that on Weibo that the Xiaomi Mi 6 smartphone will be unveiled on Valentine’s Day, that is, on February 14th. While some other tipsters on Weibo suggested that the company was expected to launch the Mi 6 in February but then postponed the event to April.
Apparently, the reason behind delaying this device is Samsung, which will be producing the next flagship Qualcomm mobile chip, will not be able to make sufficient Snapdragon 835 SoC units in time. Samsung has additionally been suggested to ship the Snapdragon 835 SoC in limited numbers along with its much-awaited Galaxy S8 smartphone.
The leaks about the upcoming Xiaomi Mi 6 hint that the phone will come with a dual-camera setup and a thin frame. The Mi 6 is tipped to come with fast charging too. As the company hasn’t released any official statement, therefore we cannot draw a valid conclusion. Last month Xiaomi launched Mi MIX smartphone with near bezel-less display and a 91.3 percent screen-to-body ratio. If the leaks turn out to be true, then the company may unveil another variant of Mi MIX smartphone soon.
