A couple of weeks ago, the news buzzed that the Mi Band 2 will be going to hit the shelves from early June. And now, the news has been confirmed by the Xiaomi’s CEO, Jun Lei in the event of the unveiling of drone that the Mi Band 2 will be on sale from 7th June.
Initially, Mi Band 2 was going to release on 10th May along with MIUI 8 and Mi Max. But due to some circumstances, Mi Band 2 launch has to be scrapped. Now, it appears that the problem has been resolved and is ready to make an entry on 7th June with improved and better features.
Mi Band 2 is the extended version of Mi Band that was launched in 2014. The new edition will be coming with several iterations and will sport LED display screen and a physical button. These features were revealed on the 10th May event by Jun. The Mi Band 2 is assisted by a rubber strap, which will be possibly available in different colors.

It is believed that the innovating Xiaomi Mi Band 2 will reduce the dependence of smartphones in future time. Users will become more compatible with smartwatches in coming time as expected by Xiamoi.
The sale will hit firstly in China, Xiaomi’s home country, and later in other territories. Talking about India, no official information has been announced yet. Before Mi Band 2, Mi band and its pulse version i.e. Mi Band Pulse were earlier launched. Both the devices are almost similar while Mi Band Pulse features a heart rate sensor as an additional feature.
Recently, Xiaomi has unveiled the Mi Drone in China in two editions. First variant shoots 1080p videos, which is available at a price tag of CNY 2499 approx Rs. 26,000. And, the second edition that has the capability of shooting 4K videos is priced at CNY 2,999 approx Rs.31,000.
