Xiaomi Redmi 3X launched
Soon after unveiling the Redmi 3S, Xiaomi has now launched the Xiaomi Redmi 3X launched with an Identical design in China. The major difference is that the new Xiaomi Redmi 3X will be exclusive to only Chinese mobile carrier, China Unicom and will be priced at CNY 899, that is, around RS 9,000.
Apart from identical design the latest Redmi 3X also sports almost identical innards. There are only a few differences.
- Redmi 3S was launched in two variants – one of 2GB RAM and 16GB inbuilt storage which was priced at CNY 699 which is approx. 7000 INR. The second variant sports 3GB RAM with 32GB inbuilt storage which costed CNY 899 which is approx. Rs. 9000. While, the new Redmi 3X will be available in only one variant sporting 2GB of RAM, and the storage capacity will be till 32 GB.
- Another difference which has been seen between the two Redmi smartphones is that the Redmi 3X features slightly different dimensions – 139.7 X 69 X 8.5 MM, compared to 13.3 X 69.6 X 8.5 mm dimensions seen on the Redmi 3S.
- At 146 grams the Redmi 3X is 2 grams heavier than the Redmi 3S. for specifications the Xiaomi Redmi 3X packs all the new octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor clocked at 1.1GHz and it is clubbed with Adreno 505 GPU. It supports expandable storage too. The expandable storage can be increased up to 128 GB via a micro-SD card. The handset is dual SIM. It comes with a hybrid SIM slot which means the second slot also acts as a micro-SD card in this handset. Much like the Redmi 3S, Redmi 3X also features a fingerprint scanner at its back.
The Redmi 3X features a 5-inch HD display and runs on MIUI 7 based on Android 5.1 Lollipop. It has 13-megapixel rear cameras with PDAF. The handset also packs a 5-megapixel front camera. It has all connectivity features like Bluetooth, GPS, WIFI, micro USB. The handset is backed by 4100 mAh battery just like the original Redmi. It will be available in silver and gold.
