Xiaomi is all set to launch Mi Notebook Air successor
After launching its first Mi Notebook in July, Xiaomi is all set to launch Mi Notebook Air successor. As per the invite, the company will unveil the device on December 23 at an event in Beijing.
Tweaks of the successor are not clear, though the invite image suggests that the laptop will support 4G network. In fact, some reports suggest that apart from the 4G support there is nothing new in the successor device. While we don’t know much about the product, the company has hinted the possible pricing detail.
As per the leaks, the Mi Notebook is tipped to be offered in two models. The standard one with Intel Core i5 CPU, 8GB RAM, and internal storage of 256GB which might be priced at CNY 3,999 (around Rs. 40,000). The Pro version might come with an Intel Core i7, Nvidia graphics card, 16GB RAM, and 512GB of onboard storage, this model might be priced at CNY 6,699 (around Rs. 68,000). The Notebook is expected to come with a 15.6-inch display and will feature a USB Type-C port. The alleged Mi Notebook is tipped to be unveiled at the company’s Wednesday event.
According to the leaked images, the Notebook appears to be sporting an all-metal notebook with a sleek body. Interestingly in the leaked images, the device didn’t sport the Mi logo.
Evidently, as all these are leaks and rumours, so we cannot draw a valuable conclusion from them. Let’s wait for the company to make an official announcement.
As for the Xiaomi’s Wednesday launch event, a sequence of teasers from the company have confirmed several details of the new Redmi smartphone hailed as Redmi Pro. The smartphone will come with a deca-core MediaTek Helio X25. Earlier, the company revealed that the Redmi Pro would feature an OLED display panel.
