LYF Wind 2 launched at Rs 8299 with 4G LTE Connectivity and Android Lollipop
Just like every other smartphone company in India, Lyf brand owned by Reliance Industries is trying to maintain its relevance in the market by new smartphone in its Wind series. This week, it is the turn of the largest LYF smartphone, the LYF Wind 2, the handset features a massive 6-inch HD display which offers a 1280 * 720 pixels resolution. LYF Wind 2 launched is also the first smartphone in Wind variant to feature audio enhancement software like BesLoudness, BesSurround, and BesAudEnh which drives up the sound quality of the media playing on the device. And just like other Wind smartphones the LYF Wind 2 offers USB On-The-Go option with Voice over LTE.

The reason behind Wind being listed as reasonable handset lies inside. It offers the widely used MediTek 6735M chipset that has previously seen in LG, Intex, Videocon, and many other smartphones. To recall your memory, the MT6735 features a 64-bit 1.3GHz quad-core ARM Cortex-A53 processor, ARM Mali-T720 GPU along with 2GB LPDDR3 RAM which is capable of handling Android 5.1 Lollipop set up in the device. The phone has an internal memory of 16GB with an expandable option up to 32GB via microSD card.
Coming to the camera of LYF Wind 2, it sports an 8MP rear camera and a 2MP front snapper. It comes with a 2850mAh non-removable battery which the company claims can give you 190 hours of standby and up to 9 hours of talk time. LYF Wind 2 offers connectivity options of Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and microUSB. The sensor options include ambient light sensor, proximity sensor and an accelerometer. The dimensions of the smartphone are measured at 157.50 * 81 * 8.5mm, and it weighs around 223 grams. The LYF Wind 2 phablet is priced at Rs. 8, 299 and it is made available at all the retail and online stores.
