Panasonic unveiled Eluga Mark 2
Panasonic unveiled Eluga Mark 2 and thus added another smartphone to its Eluga series in the country. The smartphone will be exclusively available on Flipkart from Wednesday with a price tag of Rs. 10,499. The main highlighted feature of the smartphone is Android Work functionality and 4G VoLTE connectivity. The device will be offered in a Gold colour variant.
The smartphone supports dual-SIM and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow along with an additionally highlighted feature of Android for Work support. The Panasonic Eluga Mark 2 is powered by a 1.3GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6753 processor paired with 3GB of RAM. It comes with a 5.5-inch HD IPS On-Cell display coupled with curved Asahi Dragontrail glass for protection from scratches.
Coming to the optics of Panasonic Eluga Mark 2, it features a 13-meagapixel primary camera on the back along with a 5P-element lens, a f/2.2 aperture, and a LED flash module. For the front camera, the smartphone bears a 5-megapixel front shooter along with a 4P-elemnt lens with 88-degree wide angle. The device offers internal storage capacity of 32GB which can be further expanded up to 128GB via microSD. There is also a fingerprint scanner which is housed on the back of the handset which can also be used to click selfies.

The Panasonic Eluga Mark 2 packs a 3000mAh battery which the company claims can last for the entire day. Apart from 4G LTE, connectivity options offered by the device are Bluetooth v4, GPRS/EDGE, USB OTG, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, infrared, GPS, and a 3.5mm audio jack. The dimensions of the smartphone are measured at 151x76x7.7mm.
Though the company is launching the device exclusively on Flipkart, it will also host a ‘Panasonic Phone Fest’ on the e-commerce platform starting from 23 November to 25 November. During the fest, Flipkart will offer Eluga Note, Eluga Turbo, and P66 along with deals paired with exchange offers. SBI debit and credit card holders will get a discount of 10 percent on the price of the smartphone.
