OnePlus 3T launch on December 2 in India

OnePlus has finally announced that the OnePlus 3T launch will be done in next month. Vikas Agarwal, General Manager, OnePlus India via announced OnePlus 3T launch to be done on December 2 in India.

However, the Chinese company also confirmed that would not be taking OnePlus 3 off the market which means both the smartphones will be available in the market. Seeing that the OnePlus is merely 5 months old in the market and it has already received an upgrade, it will be quite interesting to see how the company manages to sell both the handsets in India.

OnePlus 3T looks identical to the OnePlus 3, and all the upgrades are under the hood. The new model comes with an all-new Snapdragon 821 SoC, an enhanced front camera, and a 128GB storage capacity. Even with all the upgrades, OnePlus 3T comes with a modest price hike. It has gone sale in the whereas in Europe it will be available from Saturday and in the UK the device will go on sale on Monday.

As for the pricing, OnePlus 3T 64GB is priced at $439 (around Rs. 29,800) on the other hand 128GB variant has a price tag of $479 (around Rs.32, 500).

Coming to the specifications, the OnePlus 3T comes with a faster quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor, OnePlus 3 had Snapdragon 820 processor. It is offered in 64GB and 128GB storage options while it was only available in 64GB storage variant in the OnePlus 3. For the optics the OnePlus 3T comes with superior resolution as compared to OnePlus 3, it bears 16-mmegapixel front and back camera. The new handset comes with a bigger 3400mAh battery compared to 3000mAh battery we saw in OnePlus 3. OnePlus 3T also has the Dash Charge fast charging technology.
