According to the earlier reports which said that OnePlus 3 would be releasing a Soft Gold color version of the OnePlus 3 sometime around July end. Now the company has made an announcement saying that the new version of the phone will be launched on Tuesday in the US and will be unveiled in Europe, Hong Kong, and Canada on 1 August. The company has yet to relieve its release date in India, but it did say that some more information on the exact launch date for India will be revealed very soon.

OnePlus on its website said “this is not your typical gaudy gold Smartphone. We have toned the color down for a light, elegant look. To complement this more low-profile take on gold, we went with the subtle texture reminiscent of holding fine, silky-soft sand.”

The company has also informed on the site that the OnePlus Soft Gold version will be offered in limited quantities.

OnePlus 3 Smartphone was unveiled in India in June, last month. The phone is priced at Rs.27,999 and only Graphite color is available for purchase.  With OnePlus 3, the company scrapped its invite system which was a relief to its users and also claimed that now all their future devices will be sold devoid of the invite system.

The maker also said that they will be concentrating on their flagship sequence and do not plan to release any more devices in its budget handset, OnePlus X.

A brief review of OnePlus 3, the company after three prior efforts, managed to get everything precise with the OnePlus 3 and this Smartphone do extremely well in nearly every section. It has also secured some of the defects which were there with the previous handsets mainly the reliability and the built quality issues.
