Motorola confirmed that the Moto M would soon receive Android Nougat update, via a tweet. The company launched Moto M in India and Tuesday. The device is an exclusive Flipkart product. It has been offered in two RAM ad storage variant, one with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage capacity and other with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage capacity. The former has a price tag of Rs. 15,999 and the later one comes with a price tag of 17,999.
Coming to the specification of Moto M, the device comes with an all-metal body and antenna bands running on top and bottom edges at the back. The handset runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and comes with a 5.5-inch HD 2.5D IPS (1080×1920 pixels) display with a 401ppi pixel density. The smartphone is powered by a 64-bit MediaTek Helio P15 processor clocked at 2.2GHz paired with 4GB of LPDDR3 RAM. As mentioned above the smartphone comes in two storage variants which also support expandability up to 128GB via microSD card. The dual-SIM smartphone offers hybrid SIM slot support which means it supports a micro-SIM or microSD card in the second card slot.
Coming to the optics of Moto M, it comes with a 16-megapixel primary camera o the back along with dual-LED flash, PDAF support, and a f/2.0 aperture. It also houses an 8megapixel front camera. The smartphone is packed with a 3050mAh battery which also supports fast charging. Similar to several Moto brand smartphones, Moto M also features proof design or nano coating which means it can stand light rain splashes. The handset connectivity option that includes Wi-Fi 802.11ac, 4G with VoLTE, GPS/A-GPS, 3.5mm audio jack, Bluetooth v4.1, and USB Type-C.
on the event of the sale, the company also offered the discount of Rs. 1,000 on Citibank and Rs. 2000 off on the exchange of an old handset. Plus, Lenovo also offered a Rs. 1,000 discount on the Moto Pulse 2 earphones
