Panasonic to launch two budget smartphones in India

Keeping in mind the upcoming festivals, Japanese technology company Panasonic to launch two budget Android-based Eluga smartphones– Eluga Ray 500 and Eluga Ray 700 in the Indian market. ‘Eluga Ray 500’ is the company’s first dual-camera smartphone, while ‘Eluga Ray 700’ has been launched by keeping the Lovers of Selfie in mind.

The starting price of Eluga Ray 500 has been kept at Rs 8,999 and the starting price of Eluga Ray 700 has been kept at Rs 9,999.

Panasonic India’s Business Head (Mobility Division) Pankaj Rana said, “Both the smartphones will be available exclusively for sale on Flipkart. The sale of smartphones will start from 21st September.

There is a 5-inch HD IPS display in Eluga Ray 500 with the 2.5D Curved design. Its dual camera is 13 megapixels and 8 megapixels. It has a battery of 4000 mAh and includes 1.25 GHz quad-core processor and 3GB RAM.

The Eluga Ray 700 smartphone has a 5.5 inch full HD display, which is equipped with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and 2.5D Curved Glass. The phone has a 1.3 GHz Octa-Core MediaTek MTK6753 processor. The smartphone has 3GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage, which can be expanded up to 128GB via microSD card.

As far as the connectivity options of both the phones are concern Apart from 4G VoLTE, it includes 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11b / g / n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, GPRS / Edge. This phone comes with a hybrid SIM slot i.e. you will be able to simultaneously use two SIM cards or a SIM card and a MicroSD card.

Eluga Ray 700 has a 5000mAh battery. Both these phones run on Android 7.0 Nougat. Eluga Ray 500 and Eluga Ray 700 will be available in Champagne Gold, Moka Gold, and Marine Blue Colors.
