Asus ROG GX700 Launched in India
Asus, the Taiwan-based tech giant, has launched world’s first ‘liquid-cooled laptop’ on Wednesday in India. Asus ROG GX700 Launched in India is priced at Rs. 4,12,990. The company has launched ROG Strix GL502 gaming laptop in the country.
ROG GX700 is a part of Asus ‘Republic of Gamers’ series. The gaming laptop comes with a detachable ROG-exclusive Hydro Overclocking System cooling module which has a dual radiator of 92mm that the company claims are capable of dispersing over 500W of heat. It comes with an ROG-themed suitcase to carry it around.
The ROG GX700 is featured by sixth generation Intel ‘Skylake’ Core i7-6820HK processor which clocked at 2.7GHz. It has a storage capacity of 16 GB and a DDR4 RAM which can be amplified up to 64GB. For graphics, Asus has offered a Nvidia GeForce GTX 980 GPU with 8GB of GDDRS5 VRAM.
The company said that the Hydro Overclocking System will not just provide peculiar cooling abilities but will also open scope for super overclocking up to 43%. The ROG GX700 gaming laptop has a 17.3-inch 4K UHD of 3840*2160 pixel monitor along with Nvidia G-Sync technology.
The availability of Asus ROG GX700 will be through the request on Asus India Site and the company warned that only limited stocks are available.
ROG Strix GL502 was also launched in India; it is a 15.6-inch compact laptop with a 4K UHD display. The standard model of Asus ROG Strix GL502 with a full-HD display, Intel Core i7-6800HQ processor, with a Nvidia GeForce GTX970M GPU will cost you Rs.1,27,990. It will be available online and offline distributing channels.
With the new series of a gaming laptop, Asus India said that it is aiming to seize 50% share of the gaming laptop market in the country by next year.
