HTC is all geared up t launch the Desire 10 Pro smartphone in India at an event in New Delhi on Thursday. The HTC Desire 10 Pro was launched along with the Desire 10 Lifestyle earlier in September. The Desire Lifestyle made it to the country last month now we are expecting the launch of Desire 10 Pro.

Both the Desire smartphone have many things in common- with the main being the design. The smartphones come with a matte finish bodies and metallic gold contours; they also feature BoomSound stereo speakers.

The HTC Desire 10 comes with a fingerprint sensor something that the Desire 10 Lifestyle lacks. The smartphone supports dua-SIM and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with HTC Sense UI on top.

The device sports a 5.5-inch HD (1080×1920) pixel IPS LCD display along with Gorilla Glass protection, and a pixel density of 400ppi. The Desire 10 Pro is powered by 1.8GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio P10 processor. Though the device was launched in two storage variants, one with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage and another with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage, the only latter variant is being launched in the country, as per HTC’s official site. The smartphone also offers expandability option up to 2TB via microSD card.

Coming to the optics of HTC Desire 10 Pro, it bears a 20-megapixel primary camera on the back along with a f/2.2 aperture, laser autofocus, and Auto HDR mode. It also has a 13-megapixel front snapper with a f/2.2 aperture, Auto HDR, and BSI sensor.

For connectivity, the Desire 10 Pro offers 4G LTE Cat. 6, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS/A-GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, and NFC. The smartphone packs a 3000mAh battery which the company claims delivers up to 19 hours of talk time on 3G networks. The dimensions of the handset are measured at 156.5x76x7.86mm and weigh 165 grams.
