After the Dhan Dhan offer of Reliance Jio, tariff war has started again. First Airtel introduced a 70GB plan for Rs 399 and Idea is now preparing to offer a cheaper plan.
Idea will offer two bang planes-
Idea will launch two new plans; one will be of Rs 297 and another Rs 447. Idea-to-Idea Local and STD calling in the Rs 297 plan and 70 GB for 70 days of 4G data. The data usage limit will be 1GB per day. At the same time, upstream plans will be available in the Rs 447, but there will be unlimited calling facility on all the networks in this plan.
There is also a limit in the plan-
In the Rs 297 plan, the calling limit will be 300 minutes, while 1200 minutes throughout the week. After this, 30 paise per minute will be charged. At the same time, in the plan of Rs 447, unlimited calls for 70 days will be 3000 minutes. After this 30 paisa per minute will be charged.
However, this is for users who have 4G SIM card and 4G handset. This plan is for prepaid users only. Sources say that the company has been sending messages to the customers about this plan. But the company has not officially announced this offer.
The other telecom operators such as Airtel and Vodafone are also looking to offer the exciting plans to attract the old as well as new customers. Currently working plan of Airtel is of Rs 399 in which 70 GB for 70 days with unlimited calling and Vodafone’s current plan is of Rs 398 with the same offer.
