Intex Aqua Classic 2 launched – Intex’s another smartphone in the Aqua series
Following the Intex Aqua E4, Intex Aqua Classic 2 launched by the Indian smartphone manufacturer Intex adding another device to its Aqua lineup. The Intex Aqua Classic 2 comes with a price tag Rs. 4,600, and is up for grabs across major retail stores in the country.
The Intex Aqua Classic 2 is the successor of Aqua Classic and sports a sleek design accompanied round edges, and is available in Champagne colour option. On the right edge are the volume and power buttons, whereas the speakers are housed at the back of the smartphone.
To recall, the predecessor Aqua Classic was launched in June earlier this year which came with a price tag of Rs. 4,444. The only major difference between the two handsets is the support of 4G LTE, enhanced camera, better battery, and that new device runs on Marshmallow out-of-the-box.
The Intex Aqua Classic 2 comes with a 5-inch FWVGA that offers 480×854 pixels resolution display with 196ppi pixel density. The smartphone is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor coupled with 1GB of RAM. The smartphone offers 8GB of onboard storage capacity which has the expandability option of 32GB via microSD card. Consumer utilisable storage is at 5GB. It comes with dual-SIM support and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
In terms of the optics, the Intex Aqua Classic 2 comes with a 5-megapixel primary camera along with dual-LED flash and auto-focus. At the front, it has a 5-megapixel camera for selfies and video calling. The smartphone is bundled with a 2200mAh battery which the company claims can last for 200 hours on standby and 6 hours of talk time. For connectivity, the Aqua Classic 2 has options including 4G LTE, 3G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Micro-USB, GPRS/EDGE. According to the company’s page, the smartphone lacks the VoLTE support
