On Friday, Lava launched its 4G-enabled tablet in Indian market. Apart from 4G connectivity, it also supports Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. The unique highlighted feature of the tablet is that it supports dual-SIM. The tablet is available in offline and in online stores and gives one-year manufacturer warranty.
As Lava states that the IvoryS 4G is designed perfectly for both work and entertainment purpose. But, the Android Lollipop version is somehow disappointing the users.
As on launch date, Raman Sharma, VP, and Head of Tablets and IT of Lava International said, “As per industry reports, India will have over 300 million 3G and 4G subscribers by 2018. With our vision to empower people to do more and be more, we are committed to driving the 4G adoption in India. As one of the leading players in the tablet category, our endeavor is to provide world-class technology accessible to all and IvoryS 4G is a step further in that direction.”
Considering Lava IvoruS 4G tablet specs, it features 7.00-inch display screen with a resolution of 800 pixels by 1280 pixels. Further on, the tablet is clubbed with 1GB of DDR3 RAM and 16GB internal storage. It also comes with an expandable memory of 32GB via microSD card and powered by 1GHz quad-core processor and Cortex-A53 CPU.
On the photography front, Lava IvoryS 4G sports a 5-megapixel primary camera on the back side along with autofocus and LED flash light. And, the secondary camera comes with 3.2-megapixel on the front-facing side for selfie shoot. Along with it, it sports 1080p video recording feature.
On the software front, it is operated by Android Lollipop operating system. The 3000mAh non-removable battery completes the package of the device.
Lastly coming on its price, the Lava IvoryS 4G tablet is available at a cost of Rs.8799.
