After launching X50+ smartphone, Lava launched a feature phone, Lava Metal 24 in the market. Lava Metal 24 is another addition to the company ‘Metal series of the feature phone. The device comes with a price tag of Rs. 2,000, and its main highlights are its full metal body and dual-SIM support. The Metal 24 will be available in all retail stores and multi-brand stores across the nation.
Coming to the specifications of Lava Metal 24, it comes with a 2.4-inch QVGA (240×320 pixels) display. The device is powered by an MTK6261D processor. The handset offers memory expansion via microSD card up to 32GB. In terms of the optics, the device houses a 1.3-megapixel rear camera along with flash for video calling and digital zoom.

The Lava Metal 24 is powered by a 1000mAh Li-on battery, and it is available in Black and Gunmetal colour variants. It comes with FM with recording and 3.5mm audio jack port. The device incorporates pre-installed game applications such as ‘Snake’ and ‘Need for Speed’. Apart from FM and 3.5mm audio jack port, other connectivity options in the device includes Internet browsing (EDGE), USB-PC port, and Bluetooth 3.0. The previous feature phone by Lava was KKT 34i which was also priced at Rs. 2000. The device comes with a 6.1cm QVGA (240×320 pixels) display. It is powered by GSM900/DCS1800MHz. In terms of the camera, it has a 1.5-megapixel rear camera which supports video recording and zoom. The handset packs an 1800mAh battery and also offers memory expandability up to 32GB via microSD card. For connectivity, it has preinstalled browser, GPRS, EDGE, USB, FM with recording, Bluetooth.
