Lenovo Phab 2 is set to unveil in India

The Lenovo Phab 2 and Lenovo Phab 2 Plus were launched at the Lenovo’s Tech World Event held in June this year. The Phab 2 Plus was unveiled in India in November and Lenovo Phab 2 is set to unveil in India as well. One of the main online partners of Lenovo, Flipkart has listed the smartphone on its site and has announced that it’s coming soon.

However, the company has not announced the exact price and availability of the device, but we can expect its launch exclusively on Flipkart before the end of this year. The Lenovo Phab 2 is not much diverse from the Lenovo Phab 2 Plus, apart from a few downgrades in the display resolution and camera setup. Plus it also lacks the fingerprint sensor. The Phab 2 Plus came with a price tag of Rs. 14,999 and we expect the Phab 2 to be priced at a much more affordable price.

To recall, the Lenovo Phab 2 was launched at $199 (around Rs. 13,500) in June 2016. It comes with a 6.4-inch HD (720×1280 pixels ) display. the smartphone is powered by a 1.3GHz MediaTek MT8735 SoC quad-core processor paired with 3GB of RAM. Phab 2 offers an internal storage capacity of 32GB which can be further expanded up to 128GB via microSD card slot.

The Lenovo Phab 2 comes with a 13-megapixel primary camera at the back along with PDAF and LED flash. It also has a 5-megapixel front snapper with 85-degree wide-angle lens. It supports a hybrid dual-SIM slot and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The dimensions of the smartphones are measured at 88.5x175x9.6mm, and it weighs at 225 grams. For connectivity Phab 2 offers 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, and GPS support. It is powered by a 4050mAh battery. It comes in Gunmetal Grey and Champagne Gold colour variant.
