Tech Specs:
Both the phones run on Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor and provide a fantastic speed of 2.2 GHz. The OS installed in them is Android 6 (Marshmallow). It supports 4GB low-power DDR4 RAM, and both the cell phones come in 32GB and 64GB variants. There is a slight difference in the battery capacity of the phones as Moto Z has 2600 mAh battery with turbocharging and Moto Z Force uses a 3500 mAh battery. In fact, Moto Z Force has the battery life of 15 hours with just a charging time of 15 minutes.
Body and Weight:
Intricately designed sleek metal body and a shatter proof screen would definitely be the feature that any buyer would like to go for. Unfortunately, shatter proof screen is available only in Moto Z Force. This superb feature was earlier seen in Moto X Force, and it was the first phone to come with this technology after a hard work of 2 years. The shatter proof screen guarantees the user toughness of the phone that would prevent it from getting shattered when they hit any hard surface. So, you don’t need to bother about your phone because no matter how ruthless or destructive you are, your smartphone would break as easily as you think it would. Moreover, the Company has also made available Moto Shells for Moto Z to give it a new look.
The other point of difference spotted between the two models is their weight. Moto Z weighs 136 gms, and Moto Z Force is of 163 gms.
Display and Camera
Both the smartphones sport 5.5-inch screen coated with water resistant material. Moto Z has a rear camera of 13 MP whereas Moto Z Force has 21 MP rear camera. Both the phones possess the feature of optical image stabilization. The front camera settings are the same in both the devices i.e. 5MP with F2.2 lens
Price and Availability
The price of the mobile phone is not made public by the Company, so you will have to wait for it for some time. Moto Z will be made available by September of this year, but the global availability of Moto Z Force is not yet clear. In fact, it is not even finalized that Moto Z Force would be launched in India or not. Moto Z is exclusively available in the US as Verizon.
Conclusion
Let’s see whether this feature of the modular phone helps to pull the trigger for Motorola Company or not because Motorola is not the initiator of this feature; LG Company had already launched such feature before. So, this is testing time for Motorola as well as Lenovo as their collaboration shall bring wonders to both the companies
