LG is all geared up for V20 smartphone launch in India. Apparently, a retailer has claimed that LG V20 is expected to come with a price tag of Rs. 54,999, whereas carry an MRP of Rs. 60,000. Moreover, the LG V20 will launch along with a buyback schemes and a complimentary Bang and Olufsen headset for early buyers. The LG V20 will be made available on all the major offline retail outlets from 1 December, Thursday onwards, while the company didn’t disclose anything about the offline V20 smartphone launch.

Earlier the reports said that the LG V20 would be announced with the best buy price of Rs. 49,990, now LG had decided that the price for V20 with a launch scheduled to happen in early November. We understand that the company did run into some loophole while listing up major partnerships for the launch, and after the demonetization, the country is going through is likely to have encouraged the company to rethink the price of the device before the launch event.

To recall, LG V20 was the first smartphone to have incorporated the latest Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box. It comes with a 5.7-inch IPS Quantum Display accompanied by a secondary display, which we have also seen on the LG V10.

The LG V20 was first unveiled in San Francisco in September, and the handset has been rumoured to launch in India for quite some time now. Coming to the specifications of LG V20, it is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm MSM8996 Snapdragon 820 with two cores clocked at 2.15GHz and the other two clocked at 1.6GHz. It is offered in 32GB and 64GB storage variants, also have an expandability option via microSD card slot up to 256GB. The device is powered by the 3200mAh battery. The LG V20 comes in Silver, Titan, Pink colour variants.

In terms of the optics, LG V20 features a dual rear camera setup, a 135-desgree 8-megapixel lens paired with 16-megapixel 75-degree lens on the other hands there is a 5-megapixel 120-degree front snapper.

Apart from Android 7.0 Nougat, it also comes with the Google In Apps search function which allows the users to find content from the in-house apps such as emails, text messages, contacts, and pictures. It also comes with a multi-window mode that allows you to work on two apps side-to-side.
