A tide had turned for the Reliance telecom sector when it kicked up its 4G services. The firm vanquished the Lava International in respect of the no. of shipments. Further on, it has gained the 5th position in terms of the largest smartphone company by purchases.
Reliance Jio’s Lyf smartphones were launched in last quarter of 2015 and in the first quarter of 2016, it has accounted the 7.1 percent of India’s market share. And, talking about the Lava’s market share, it is 7 percent.
As the company is doing well in India, it is soon coming to launch a new entry-level handset, LYF Wind 4 at just Rs 6,799.
The LYF Wind 4 is a dual-SIM phone, well equipped with a 4000mAh battery and is coupled with 1GB RAM and 8GB internal memory. The camera sports 8-megapixel rear camera and 2-megapixel front shooter for selfies. Other features of the handset include Digital DTS Surround Technology, voice-calling facility over Voice over Long Term Evolution (VoLTE), and a five-inch LCD.

Regarding the 4G services introduced by Reliance Jio, Reliance has recently opened it up on the trial basis. To fetch the SIM, the consumer has to take permission from the employees of Reliance Industries group firm.

Further on, from the iPhone side, which has a huge future in the Indian market, has a lot of potential in expanding the 4G market.
