Samsung might launch a new ‘Glossy Black’ variant of Galaxy S7 Edge

If the rumours and some recent leaks are to be believed, Samsung might launch a new ‘Glossy Black’ variant of Galaxy S7 Edge. The rumoured Glossy Black Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge variant along with 128GB onboard storage has been spotted in live images by a tipster in China.

Apple earlier launched the latest iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus smartphone in a Jet Black colour. So this attempt by Samsung of introducing Galaxy S7 Edge in the new colour and increased storage variant is seen as the attempt to take on its rival.

As the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge is already launched in Black Onyx colour, the Glossy Balck will just be another variant of Black for the handset.

The South Korean tech giant recently came up with an all-new Blue Coral colour variant for the Galaxy S7 Edge in its hometown. Of course, the Blue Coral became popular with now dead Galaxy Note 7, which was the first device that sported this colour. At present Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge is available in Gold Platinum, Silver Titanium, Gold, White Pearl, and Black Onyx colour variants.

The company after the explosion incident of the Galaxy S7 smartphones had issued a statement declaring that the Galaxy S7 series is safe. Earlier Samsung started rolling out a pop-up notification to the Galaxy S7 users assuring them that their smartphones are safe and there is no recall for S7.

Not too long ago this South Korean tech giant unveiled Android 7.0 Galaxy Beta Program for Samsung Galaxy S7 and Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge. The company is also expected soon roll out Nougat Update for the Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge. As for the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge being launched in a Glossy Black colour variant with increased internal storage, we will have to wait for the company to make an official announcement to get any conformity.
