A Superbook turns your Android smartphone into a laptop
A US-based company has unveiled a new laptop shell that will convert your Android Smartphone into a laptop. A Superbook turns your Android smartphone into a laptop . This will make things handier and reasonable for the population in developing nations like India and South Africa as they can literally transmit their office with them anywhere.
The laptop shell, known as Superbook is designed by Andromium Inc., builds an Android smartphone product look like a desktop setting. TreeHugger on Saturday accounted that it is basically a ‘dumb terminal’ that is a notebook with only a keyboard, battery, trackpad and display but no processor.
Andromium unveiled this striving creation on Kickstarter- a website which is designed to bring creative projects to life. Superbook is available here at $99.
Created by Andrew Jiang and his group at Andromium, the shell features a large display, keyboard, and multi-touch trackpad. It has a battery and phone charging capacity of more than eight hours.
When connected with Android smartphone, it opens an app that provides a complete laptop experience. As per Andrew, the app is basically Android Continuum, which allows you to work continuously, going from phone to notebook.
On the product description on Kickstarter, Andrew states, “with the Superbook; you can do everything you can do on a laptop- and more. With the desktop-class browsing, access to office applications, games, and even programming, the opportunities are limitless.”
Another similar device is MESUIT, but it gives out a different function. A China-based mobile OS virtualization company, Haimawan has designed MESUIT, which allows the consumers to run Android on an iPhone. It can be employed to run an Android-based OS known as Mesuit OS 1.0, on iPhone 6/6S, and iPhone 6Plus/6SOlus phones. The suit also works like an outer battery pack and a storage device up to the capacity of 32GB, 64GB, and 128GB. The device has a SIM slot too.
