LG is all set to unveil its LG G6 smartphone
After the launch of LG G5, the South Korean company is all set to launch LG G6 smartphone. It was indicated on the online leaks that the company will be altering its modular design that was previously carried out by LG G5. The Smartphone portrays a plain design and a glossy finish. The edges are a bit curvy, and the back panel is completely flat and is non-removable. The design model will be released in both glossy and matte finish with a highly reflective back panel. The fingerprint sensor is placed right below the rear camera.
A USB Type-C port is placed at the bottom next to the speakers with a headphone jack. The Smartphone will feature a 5.3 inch Quad-HD Display similar to LG G5 which include Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 835 Soc. The LG G6 smartphone will feature a curved OLED display like its counterpart Samsung Galaxy S7. Other speculations are made about the device being capable of charging wirelessly by having a module set up in the back portion of the device and can charge up to 50% in less than 30 minutes. A quick wireless charging pad with 15W power can quickly charge up the entire device.
The device will sport 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM with a 32GB internal storage. The device may be having the same camera features as of LG G5 with a 16-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front camera with a wide-angle affair. Having Android Nougat 7.0 version battery life improvements and probably less power consuming Snapdragon 835, we expect to see a better battery life for LG G6.
The main changes done with LG G6 is the ability to display multiple applications in split-screen mode, support for notification replies, Vulkan graphics API which means 3D graphics and improvement in ‘Doze’ battery saving mechanism.
The price of the device is still not clear, but the speculations are made that LG G6 smartphone may cost up to 40,000 INR.
