Samsung is South Korean Multi-nation Electronics Company founded on 1 March 1938. It is also the largest manufacturer of the Smartphone in the world. Samsung has launched its first Android-based Smartphone back on 29 June 2009 in India with Android version 1.6. Today the latest version of Android is 7.1.1 (Nougat) has launched for some Smartphones.
There are rumors that Samsung might launch the Android Nougat for Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro in upcoming months. The Galaxy A9 Pro was launched with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow out of the box in May 2016. This device has been spotted running on the latest Android Nougat OS on Geekbench and GFXBench. So it has led to the mind of the many people that Samsung has started software testing on Galaxy A9 Pro.
In any case, if the latest update to Android 7.1.1 Nougat might not be available for Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro then it will get the original Android 7.0 Nougat. The device has been confirmed to receive all the latest updates with Google June security patch.
Samsung has rolled out the Android Nougat update to Galaxy A5 2016 recently. The few other phones that might likely to receive the Android update apart from Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro are Galaxy A3 (both 2016 and 2017), Galaxy A7 ( both 2016 and 2017) and the Galaxy A8 is also lined up to get the update in the coming weeks.
The latest Android Nougat will bring the several new features to the Smartphone such as bundled notification, improved battery optimization, night mode, multi-window options, Quick App Switcher, Quick Reply, Advanced Doze Mode and much more. Samsung might add some features of its own to the software including lock screen personalization option to improve notifications on display, Always on Display that lets users change the clock color, enhanced accessibility, card dynamic adjustment of display size, new font option for titles, revamped calendar app among other new features.
The new modes have also been added to Galaxy mobiles by activating one of them, allows the users to use the device according to the need. The four modes are Optimized mode (which extends battery), Entertainment mode (which enhances sound and image quality), Game mode (which provides useful functions such as Game Launcher and Game Tools) and High-Performance mode (which enables the highest quality display settings possible)
There is no official news from the Samsung about the Galaxy A9 Pro Nougat update.
