Motorola was multinational telecommunication company of America founded 88 years ago on September 25, 1928. After continuous losses from 2007 to 2009, it was divided into two parts Motorola Mobility and Motorola Solutions on January 4, 2011. Motorola Mobility drives Motorola which was sold to Google in 2012. In 2014 Google announced that they sold Motorola to the Chinese company Lenovo.
Moto C Plus features
It is confirmed by the Motorola on Wednesday at the press conference about the Moto C Plus launch in India. The launch date of Moto C Plus is 19 June 2017. The device was recently launched in the US about one month ago. Motorola also confirmed on the social sites like Facebook and Twitter about the Operating system and the massive battery. The cheaper and earlier version of Moto C Plus, Moto C was launched last month in India, which is lookwise similar to Moto C Plus. Its camera is at the upper middle of the back side with charging and 3.5 mm port on the top and speakers on the lower back side.
The display size of the Moto C Plus is 5.0 inches (~66.2% screen-to-body ratio), type of display type of TFT capacitive touchscreen with 16M colors and resolutions of 720 x 1280 pixels (~294 PPI pixel density).
As confirmed by the Motorola Company, Moto C Plus comes with the operating system of Android 7.0 (Nougat), Mediatek MT6737 chipset, Quad-core 1.3 GHz Cortex-A53 CPU and Mali-T720MP2 GPU. This device is higher end version of Moto C with higher screen resolutions, camera, processor, and RAM.
The internal storage of the device is 16 GB which can be expandable up to 32 GB via microSD card. It might come in two RAM variants 1 GB and 2 GB.
As far as the camera of Moto C Plus is the concern, it has 8 MP primary camera with f/2.2, autofocus and LED flash. The camera features are 1.12 µm pixel size, face detection, panorama, geo-tagging, touch focus, HDR. The secondary camera of this device is 2 MP with f/2.8 and LED flash. The primary camera can record video at 720p@30fps.
The connectivity option in Moto C Plus is WLAN (Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, hotspot), Bluetooth (4.2, A2DP, LE), GPS (with A-GPS), FM Radio and Micro USB 2.0.
The only sensor which is available in Moto C Plus is Accelerometer. Except accelerometer sensor, there is no proximity, fingerprint, and compass. This would be the main concern in the future of the device. At least proximity sensor should be involved in it.
The battery size is quite large which is Li-Po 4000 mAh. It is can also removable and can be easily changed if there is any problem in battery. The colors in which Moto C Plus might be available are Metallic Cherry, Pearl White, Fine Gold and Starry Black.
The price of Moto C Plus in India is expected to be around Rs. 8,500.
