It is expected that Samsung Electronics will increase its output of OLEDs by more than 50 percent in the current year with the investment of 6.82 billion dollars.In an another report, it was stated the Foxcomm-owned supplier Sharp is planning to commence its delivery of OLED panels in the market by the end of 2017. Apple is one of the biggest customers of Foxconn.

For the power consumption, the company used darker user interfaces which allowed the device to have a full day battery life. In OLED technology, all pixels lit itself individually, which signifies that the unused pixels do not need as much power as elucidated pixels. Additionally, the OLED technology is also rumored to feature in Apple’s MacBook Pro as a touch-sensitive dynamic display which will replace the function key rows.

As for the current year the company is expected to launch its iPhone 7 in September featuring 5.5-inch LCD, dual-camera, 3GB RAM, the smart connector for magnetic charging, and a slimmer built which may eliminate the 3.5mm audio jack.
