Oppo has unveiled an upgraded variant of Oppo F1s
Oppo released the selfie-focused F1s smartphone in August this year. The smartphone was priced at Rs. 17,990 and was made available on Amazon India and all major retail outlets online. Now the Chinese manufacturer Oppo has unveiled an upgraded variant of Oppo F1s which has more RAM and internal storage capacity. This device comes with a price tag of Rs. 18,990.
In just Rs. 1000 more the Oppo F1s offers 4GB of RAM and onboard storage capacity of 64GB. It will be made available by the end of November exclusively through offline stores, and it will be offered via Amazon India from December. The previous variant only has a 3GBRAM/32GB storage option.
All other specifications are same as the previous model, the main highlight of the smartphone is its 16-megapixel front camera along with 1/3.1-inch sensor and f/2.0 aperture. Other selfie-based features are the Selfie Panorama that joins three selfies, its Beauty 4.0 app for selfie editing, and the Screen Flash feature.
Coming to the display, the Oppo F1s comes with a 5.5-inch HD IPS (720×1280 pixels) display along with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek MT6750 SoC, paired with Mali-T860 MP2 GPU and 4GB of RAM. The Oppo F1s supports dual-SIM and runs on ColorOS 3.0 based Android 5.1 Lollipop.
The device comes with a 13-megapixel primary camera on the back along with a f/2.2 aperture, PDAF autofocus, and dual-LED flash. The handset offers expandability of storage up to 128GB via microSD card. Connectivity options offered by the Oppo F1s include 4G LTE, GPS, Bluetooth v4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, and USB OTG. The handset packs a 3075mAh battery. The dimensions of the smartphone are measured at 154.5×76.7.38mm, and it weighs at 160 grams. The fingerprint sensor is housed on the home button which the company claims can unlock the device in 0.22 seconds.
Sensor options include an accelerometer, proximity sensor, digital compass, and ambient light sensor. Oppo F1s is also flaunting the fingerprint sensor based shortcuts for making calls and launching apps.
