Prisma App gets an update
You will find hundreds of photo-filter apps, but with most of them, the effects are usual, and sometimes the pictures end up looking shabby. However, the latest photo-filter app, Prisma has received an incredible amount of praises from around the globe. It was officially introduced last month; basically, this app uses artificial intelligence to create artwork out of a regular photo. However, the major criticism that this app faced was because of the time delay in applying filters. Now, Prisma App gets an update.
Now with the latest update, Prisma has reduced the delayed time. Additionally, the update has also included the option to crop the images within the app, though the option seems to work only on the images taken from the gallery but not on the pictures clicked using app camera.
Now with the new update, the app allows the users to swivel the images in whichever angle they prefer. The new features are available on both Android (v1.1) and iOS (v2.3) apps, and they are made available on Google Play Store and the App Store.
Another additional feature rolled out with the update is split-screen. Presently only iOS users have access to this feature. This feature divides the screen into two halves, one with the applied filter and the other without the filter.
Many duplicate apps are trying to imitate Prisma, and some have done quite a good job in mimicking the idea. When last month Prisma announced that it is working a video filter feature, an app called Aristo already beaten Prisma to it.
Interestingly enough Aristo gives back the processed videos relatively quick. With that, all eyes are on Prisma and the much talked about video-filter features. We will just have to wait and see how it surpassed its rivals who offer the same features.
