Reliance Digital launched Lyf Wind 7i

Reliance Digital has added a new smartphone to its Lyf smartphone portfolio; the new VoLTE enabled Lyf Wind 7i. Reliance Digital launched Lyf Wind 7i. The Lyf Wind 7i is the successor of the Lyf Wind 7, which was released in earlier in August with a price tag of Rs. 6,999. The newly launched smartphone runs on Android Marshmallow and comes with a price tag of Rs. 4,999.

The Wind 7i supports dual-SIM and features some new specifications as compared to the Lyf Wind 7 in terms of storage capacity, battery capability, optics and OS.

The newly launched smartphone features a 5-inch IPS HD (720×128 pixels) display. Given that the Lyf Wind 7i is a smartphone with lower specifications, it is powered by 1.3GHz quad-core Snapdragon 210 SoC paired with 1GB of RAM. Comparatively, the Lyf Wind 7 is powered by 1.5GHz quad-core Spreadtrum SC9830A processor paired with 1GB of RAM. It has 8GB onboard storage and also offers expandability up to 128GB via microSD card.

Coming to the optics of Lyf Wind 7i, it comes with an 8-megapixel rear camera along with LED flash and also has a 5-megapixel front snapper for the selfie. Some of the camera feature of the smartphone includes continuous auto-focus, red-eye reduction, and smile detection. Connectivity option included in the Wind 7i are 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.0, Micro-USB, and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n.

The dimensions of Lyf Wind 7i is measured at 143.5x72x8.7mm, and it weighs 156 grams. The device packs a 2250mAh battery which the company claims offer 9 hours of talk time and up to 180 hours of standby on a 4G network. The Lyf Wind 7i is offered in Black and Blue colour variants.

All thanks to the Reliance Jio offering, Lyf smartphones have managed to grab the fifth spot on the list of the top-selling smartphone in Q3,2016.
