Xiaomi Redmi Pro 2
The Chinese- based Mobile Phone Company; Xiaomi is all set to launch its new Smartphone, Xiaomi Redmi Pro 2. The release date of the phone was expected to be the end of April but now it may launch in August 2017.The Xiaomi Redmi Pro was launched in July, 2016 and had received a great response from the market. It was the first Smartphone to have a dual- camera setup and was Xiaomi’s first Smartphone to use MediaTek’s deca-core processor. The same will be expected from the Redmi Pro 2, but allegedly the phone won’t be continuing the legacy of the processor and the dual- camera setup too.
Design:
The phone is expected to have a 5.5 inch full-HD display with resolution of 1,080 × 1,920 pixels. The phone will also have a finger print sensor below the rear camera, as now with most smart phones. The phone will be Dual-SIM. The smart phone is estimated to be available in three variant colours which are gold, silver and grey for the buyers.
Battery:
The battery capacity of the phone will be 4500mAh which is significantly more than 4050mAh found in its predecessor. The battery won’t be removable and will be having a USB Type-C port.
Camera:
The Redmi Pro 2 will be having a rear camera of Sony IMX362/2.55” sensor. The primary camera is expected to be of 12 megapixel and front camera of 5 megapixel. The phone is alleged to run on the new version of Android(Nougat).
Processor:
The phone will have an Octa- Core, 2.5GHz processor. This time, Redmi Pro 2 is rumoured to have two variants, based on the storage capacity. There will be a phone-model with 4GB Ram with 64 GB of Internal storage, expandable up to 256 GB by using the hybrid SIM slot 2. There will be another model with 6GB Ram and 128GB of internal storage.
Price:
The Xiaomi Pro 2 is rumoured to be available for15,999 and the higher version for 17,999.
My Review:
There have been just rumours regarding the phone and nothing has been confirmed yet. So, I think we will have to wait a little more till everything is confirmed. The Xiaomi Redmi Pro 2 will be a treat for the ones who love multi tasking, photography and want to enjoy gaming with ease. The phone will be ranging in the medium budget category and the features offered are of a high end phone. But we have better smart phones in the medium budget category with better features.
