LeEco and Coolpad launched yet another affordable high-end smartphone, the LeEco Cool S1. After releasing their first smartphone, the Cool1 Dual in August, and their second on, the Cool Changer 1C in November, the two companies have now unveiled their third product, the Cool S1, in China. The Cool S1 in 4GB/32GB variant is priced at CNY 2,499 (around Rs. 24,360), the 6GB/64GB variant is priced at CNY 2,699 (Rs. 26,332 approximately), and the 6GB/128GB variant comes with a price tag of CNY 3,199 (Rs. 31,211 approximately).

Coming to the specifications of LeEco Cool S1, the device sports metal body along with a design language that looks a lot like the LeEco Pro 3. The smartphone comes with two front-facing speakers along with Harman’s Clari-Fi audio enhancing technology. The companies ditched the 3.5mm headphone jack and now incorporates a USB Type-C headset. The fingerprint scanner is housed at the back panel just below the rear camera module.

The LeEco Cool S1 comes with a 5.5-inch 1080p display. The device is powered by a 2.3GH Snapdragon 821 which is paired with 4GB/6GB RAM options. As mentioned above the smartphone offers 32GB, 64GB, and 128GB storage variants. Further, the device runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and supports dual-SIM.

In terms of the optic, the LeEco Cool S1 features a 16-megapixel camera along with 4K recording, PDAF, and Dual-LED. At the front, the smartphone houses an 8-megapixel camera for selfies and video calling.

For connectivity the LeEco Cool S1 has 4G, Bluetooth 4.1, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, USB Type-C support, and OTG. The device is powered by a 4070mAh battery that comes with Quick Charge 3.0 support. The dimensions of the smartphone are measured at 151.4×74.7×7.5mm, and it weighs 168 grams.

As of now, the LeEco Cool S1 smartphone has only been launched in China, and there is no information on its global release.
